Once you purchase eFax add-on and enable fax functionality on your account, you can then fax PDF attachments from under client's "Attachments" section.
Here are directions on how to fax attachments:
Step 1: Click on Clients.
Step 2: Click the eye icon next to the name of the client or start typing the name of the client in the upper search bar titled Clients. Select the name and this will open the chart.
Step 3: Click on Documents < Attachments.
Step 4: Locate the attachment you wish to fax and click on the icon of the fax next to it to fax it.
Step 5: You will be presented with a form asking for fax number, subject and other information.
Step 6: By default, the system tries to retrieve "Referring provider" name and fax number if specified for the client.
Step 7: Click on "Send Fax" button to send fax
Step 8: You can view fax status under Fax in client view. You can also view "Incoming" and "Outgoing" faxes under My Account< Fax
