We recommend that both clinicians and clients test their equipment and connectivity before joining a session.
Here are directions for clinicians on how to test the setup for Telehealth:
From the Main dashboard:
Step 1: Click on the icon of the camera on the upper navigation.
Or from the scheduled meeting:
Step 1: Click on the scheduled Telehealth appointment on the calendar.
Step 2: At the pop-up box, click on Test setup (upper right)
This test will test your camera, microphone and speakers.
To pass the Equipment and connectivity test
Step 1: The camera started successfully. You should see yourself on the camera.
Step 2: Microphone started successfully. When speaking you should see a green bar moving.
Step 3: Test Speakers. Click on the Start button to hear audio, you should hear beeping.
Step 4: Successfully connected to TheraPlatform servers.
Note: Follow the instructions to correct the issue if an error is detected with your equipment.
You can also click on our built-in HELP (at the right bottom of your platform) and enter a keyword to troubleshot any set-up issues. For example, if you don't see yourself in the camera during this test, type camera and follow our written directions.
