How to Hide an Insurance Payer from Clients

TheraPlatform allows providers and administrators to control which insurance payers are available for clients to select when entering their insurance information through the Client Portal. If a specific payer should not be available for clients to select, you can use the Hide from Clients option to remove that payer from the list of available insurance options.

How to Hide an Insurance Payer from Clients

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Step 2: Select Billing

Step 3: Click on Insurers

Step 4: Select the insurance payer you want to hide from clients

Step 5: Scroll to the bottom of the insurer's settings page

Step 6: Toggle on the Hide from Clients option

Step 7: Click Save Changes

Once enabled, the selected insurance payer will no longer be available for clients to select when entering or updating their insurance information through the Client Portal.

This setting only prevents the payer from being displayed as an option to clients in the Client Portal. Providers and authorized staff members can still access and manage the insurer within the platform.
