TheraPlatform (Plans Pro and Pro Plus) offers automatic claim creation and submission, which can be enabled/disabled according to your needs.
Note: If you want to have automatic claims for some but not all clients, you can disable auto-claim for certain clients under the chart. Directions provided below.
Here are the steps to enable automatic claim creation and submission:
Step 1: Click on Settings.
Step 2: Click on Billing< Settings< Edit.
Step 3: At the pop up box mark in blue: auto invoice creation and frequency (e.g. 1 – every day or 7 – every 7th day) if your want our system to create invoice automatically. If not leave this option “unchecked”. You can choose monthly or daily frequency.
Step 4: Mark in blue Auto Create Claims and enter the number for frequency- e.g., 1 (1 means everyday). With this option on, our system will automatically create claims after invoices are created every day.
Step 5: Mark in blue Auto Submit Claims if you wish our system to submit them automatically for you once claims are created.
Step 6: If you mark Auto Submit Claims in blue- enter the number for hours for delaying claim creation. For example if you want the system to submit claims automatically 24 hours after claims were created, enter 24, etc.
Step 7: Mark the rest of the options in blue according to your needs and click on Save Changes.
Important: Once the claims are created and you marked auto submit claims, the claims will show up, under To Do-< Insurance< Scheduled Claims. You can view all claims that are scheduled for submitting here. Created Claims that had missing information (e.g. missing note, CPT code, etc.) will show up under To Do< More Info Required. They will not be submitted automatically until you fix. Once you fix the claims they will be under TO Do< Insurance< Scheduled Claim Submission waiting for our system to automatically submit them.
To fix claims:
- Click on To Do- More Info Required.
- A list of claims needing your attention will pull, click on the red box to fix the claim.
- At the pop up box, message and what to fix will show. Click on red fix it to fix the claim.
- Once the claim/s is fixed it will be moved to To Do Scheduled Claims and will be automatically submitted according to your settings.
Note: You can always submit claims manually after fixing it as well.
