CPT Code Lookup

CPT Codes were developed by American Medical Association (AMA) and they can be found on their website. In addition, your professional organization, may have a list of CPT codes as well. You may contact your organization, or you may go to AMA’S website.

Here are directions on how to look up CPT codes for free on AMA’s website:

Step #1: Go to AMA website and Create an Account. https://www.ama-assn.org/

Step #2: There you will find an End-User License Agreement.

Step #3: Click on AGREE.

Step #4: Once you click on “AGREE”, it will take you to the next page which is your search page.
