Box 19 on CMS 1500

If the health insurance requires that you provide additional information on your client/patient you can fill box 19 on CMS 1500 on TheraPlatform by following the below steps:

Note: Prior to following the below steps, please make sure that you have insurance added under Settings< Billing< Insurance and that your client has insurance added under your client's chart- details- insurance.

Step 1: Locate your client by clicking on Clients and using our client search bar : type your client's name (or from the main list of clients- click on the blue box to view the client's chart)

Step 2: Under Client Details < Insurance.

Step 3: Click on the pencil icon next to the insurance.

Step 4: This will pull another box "Insurance Details"- locate field titled Box 19 Additional Claim Information and enter the value you need. 

Step 5: Click on Save changes. The information entered here will automatically fill box 19 on CMS 1500 when you create a claim on TheraPlatform.

If you ever need to edit the above value, follow the above steps and click on save changes.
