Customize AI Note Templates for Progress Notes

TheraPlatform allows you to have more control over how AI-generated notes are created, thanks to a powerful new feature: the ability to edit AI note templates and instructions directly within the system. This feature is available for both Progress Notes.

This enhancement allows users to fine-tune how AI generates clinical notes—making documentation more aligned with your team's workflow, and compliance needs. 

Important: To edit AI note templates and instructions, a valid AI Documentation License is required

How to Customize Ai Progress Note Template 

To document using TheraPlatform’s AI notes (Text-to-Text, Dictation, and Telehealth), you’ll need to set up a SOAP AI-enabled note template. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to Settings > Notes > Progress

Step 2: Click on Browse Library

Step 3: Find SOAP AI in the list and click Select

Step 4: The selected SOAP AI template will appear under your Enabled Notes section.

Step 5: Click the Edit button next to the SOAP AI title.

Step 6: In the pop-up window, click on the pencil to edit any of the AI instructions, and when finished, click on the check mark to close the editor and click on Save changes on the note to save all changes.
