In addition, payers require that the zip code is a 9 digit zip code in order to be considered a deliverable address.

Please go to USPS and enter the address of your patient to verify it produces a 9 digit zip code. If the verification does not provide a 9 digit zip code, this would indicate that it is not a deliverable address. This can occur if a part of the address is missing such as the apartment number or suite. If that’s the case, then please follow up with your client to ensure the information is accurate.
