TheraPlatform allows you to disable email and/or text contact with your clients. This is helpful when your clients don’t wish or cannot receive any communication from you via TheraPlatform such as email reminder, notifications or text reminders.
You can disable email and text communication when adding a new client (when you're adding a new client) to TheraPlatform by marking Do not email and disable it for existing clients (clients you already added). To learn how to add a new client, click here.
How to mark your existing client as don't email follow these directions:
Step 1: Click on the Clients.
Step 2: Click on the eye icon next to the name of your client or start typing the name of the client in the top search bar titled Clients. Select the name and this will open the chart.
Step 3: Next click on Account and mark don't email option in blue.
Step 4: If this client does not wish to receive any text, mark don't text.
Step 5: Click on Save changes.
Important: We don't recommend marking the client account with "Don't email" if you plan to provide Telehealth service to the client. One needs to be emailed links to online sessions in order to participate.
