Enable Automatic SuperBill Creation

TheraPlatform allows an administrator and billers to create superbills either manually or you can enable automatic superbill creation and our software will create them automatically for you. In addition, our system will automatically send superbills to your clients if automatic superbill creation is turned on. Your clients will receive an email notification that the superbill is ready for them in the client's portal.

Note: If you want to have automatic superbill  creation for majority but not all clients,  you can disable auto-superbill for certain clients under the chart. Directions provided below. 

How to enable automatic superbill creation

Step: Click on Settings< Billing < Settings.

Step 2: Click on the Edit button.

Step 3: This will pull up a box.  Mark auto-create superbills (To enable auto invoice creation mark auto invoice creation)

Step 7: Enter a number under Create Superbill Frequency (days). For example, if you wish superbill is automatically created every day (for each session individually)- enter 1. If you wish superbill to be created every 28 days (and this will pull all the services provided within this period of time on one superbill), enter 28, etc.

Step 8: Click on Save changes

Note: Prior to setting up invoicing and superbills, please ensure that you added all your services with your fees/ charges under Settings. 

Sending superbill to clients

To send superbill to your client, open the chart of the client and click on Billing< Superbill< Find the superbill you wish to send and click on the eye icon next to it to open it. Click on Send to send it to your client. Your client will receive an email notification and will be asked to log in to the client portal to view and print it.

How to disable auto superbill for certain clients 

If you like the auto superbill option but only for certain clients, you can disable this function under the chart:

• Locate the client under the Clients and open the chart
• Click on Billing< Billing Account< Edit billing account
• Disable automated billing by marking the options that you wish. For example, mark in blue Disable Auto Superbill. (Blue switch on means that this is disabled.)
