TheraPlatform offers two-way integration with Google calendar, which allows therapists to schedule appointments in Google calendar and these appointments will carry over to TheraPlatform calendar.
Please note that after you schedule in Google calendar, you still need to edit the meeting that was imported from Google to Theraplatform on Theraplaform calendar. Ensure that you connect your Google calendar to TheraPlatform first and then adjust the calendar view setting to show Google Calendar events.
How to schedule with Google calendar integration.
Step 1: Schedule a meeting in your Google calendar (For privacy/security reasons, we recommend that you use your client's first name and initial e.g. Mark S with a note next to it (e.g. Mark S [to schedule in TheraPlatform]) when you schedule your clients in Google calendar.
Step 2: The appointment that you scheduled in Google Calendar will show in TheraPlatform calendar with an exclamation point (!). This alerts you that this meeting came from Google Calendar and you still need to schedule it in TheraPlatform.
Step 3: Click on the appointment with the exclamation point and enter all information ( change the title; mark appropriate service location, therapy type; mark repeat if recurring; enter the name of the client under clients box; select the appropriate service type, etc.) and click on save changes.
Important: To delete appointments that you originally scheduled in the Google calendar, login to your Google calendar, and delete the appointment.
