If you you added health insurance under your client'ss chart and you did not submit any claims with this insurance, you can delete the insurance from the client's chart by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on Client.
Step 2: Click on the eye icon next to the name of the client or start typing the name of the client in the upper Client search bar. Select the client and this will open the chart.
Step 3: Click on Clients Details< Insurance.
Step 4: Click on the icon of the pencil to make changes under the insurance (e.g. id number, co-pay, etc.). Note: You cannot edit the name of the insurance but you can de-active the insurance and add a new one. See steps below.
Step 5: Save Changes when finished.
Step 6: Click Delete to remove insurance from the client account. (This can be only done if no claims were submitted for this client with this insurance. If you did, you can de-active the insurance and add a new one. See steps below)
Here are the steps on how to deactivate insurance if claims are associated with it already:
Step 1: Open the client's chart.
Sep 2: Under Client details click on Insurance.
Step 3: Click on the pencil icon next to the name of the insurance.
Step 4: At the pop, up box, toggle on "Is Disabled".
Step 5: Click Save changes.
Step 6: If you need to add a new insurance under the chart, click on Client details < Insurance < Add Insurance < At the pop up, select the new insurance.
Important: All insurance should be added first under Settings < Billing< Insurers < Add Insurers
