Delete a Draft Claim

You can delete a claim that is in draft status. Draft means you have created a Claim but not submitted it. You cannot delete a claim once it has been submitted.

You can delete draft claims from multiple locations on TheraPlatform:  Billing, TO Do and chart .

From Billing

Step 1: Click on Billing< Draft claims (under Insurance section)

Step 2:  A list of all claims will pull. You can filter them by status. Under All search bar, select Draft.

You can filter them by the client's name: Click on the three dots and start typing the client's name in the client's search bar.

Step 3: Click on the trashcan icon next to the draft claim you wish to delete.

From To Do

Step 1: Click on To Do< Claims.

Step 2:  A list of Draft claims will pull. 

You can filter them by client's name: Click on the three dots and start typing the client's name in the client's search bar.

Step 3: Click on the trashcan icon next to the draft claim you wish to delete.

From the chart

Step 1: Click on Clients.

Step 2: Click on the eye icon next to the name of the client or start typing the name of your client in the upper Client search bar. Select the client and this will open the chart.

Step 3: Click on Billing< Claims.

Step 4: A list of all claims will pull. You can filter them by status. Under All search bar, select Draft.

Step 5: Click on the trashcan icon next to the draft claim you wish to delete.
