TheraPlatform offers a co-sign feature which allows clinicians to co-sign notes.
When the admin or staff adds a therapist to TheraPlatform under Therapists, they can also enable the option to require to cosign. When this option is enabled, the therapist will always need to select a person, who should co-sign her/his notes.
The notes that need to be co-singed will show under TO DO. You will see a new notification in your messages, if a new cosign is requested as well.
Note: You can co-sign at the note level- pull up and note and co-sign and you can also co-sign All notes by clicking on Co-sign All.
Step 1: Click on the TODO.
Step 3: Under Documentation, locate notes that require co-sign. For example, Progress Notes Co-sign Requests.
Step 4: Click on the note type, e.g. Progress Notes Co-Sign Requests, and a note or list of notes that needs your co-sign, will show.
Step 5: Click on the Green box next to the note.
Step 6: A note will pull, review the note and then click on the red button Cosign.
Note: The co-signer and the therapist (author of the note), can also leave alerts (short messages) on the notes. This is a great additional feature as at times the co-singer needs to leave feedback for therapist and ask to make changes on the notes prior to co-signing. Refer to this article on how co-signer can leave notes/alerts/message on the notes.
