On our Pro and Pro Plus Plans we offer an "Observer" role for meetings. This feature allows supervisors or therapists to observe other therapists during live meetings with their clients. This feature is great for training or quality assurance.
The Observer can view and hear a live session only. They will not be able to interact with the Therapist or Client. The Client will not see or hear the Observer.
If you're the admin and you wish to observer your therapist, the therapist or the scheduler should schedule session and select you as the observer. The admin cannot schedule observer meetings.
To schedule session with an observer:

Click on the "Schedule".

Click on the scheduled meeting you would like to add the Observer too.
- Scroll to "Observers".

Start typing in the name of the Observer and select it.

Click on "Save changes".

An automated message will be sent to the observer to inform him/her about the meeting.
Note: To learn how the observer can join session that needs to be observed refer to "How the observer joins session"
Note:Only therapists or supervisors within TheraPlatform and your practice/organization can be invited as observers. You cannot invite an outside observer to observe live session.
Observer function is not for individuals outside the platform and its purpose is for supervisors, etc. to observe clinicians for training purposes, quality assurance or supervision. When one joins online session as the observer, the clinician and the client will not see the observer but the observer will see everything. The observer can even directly chat with the clinician to provide guidance.
However if you need to invite someone else to observe (e.g. translator, other professional), you would need to add them under Clients first with an email and then schedule a group session with this person so he/she can join the meeting.
