The Electronic signature on a superbill will show the clinician's name at the bottom of the printed version.
To enable electronic signature on the superbill, follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on Settings > Billing > Settings> Edit
Step 2: Mark in blue: Include Electronic Signature in Superbill
Step 3: Click on Save changes
What's the difference between a signature line and an electronic signature on a superbill?
Under Settings of Billing, you can also include a signature line. The signature line will have a line for signature and date with a line on the printout version. The client can print the superbill sign on the line and date it with a pen.
The electronic signature has no line, and it automatically inserts the clinician's or staff member's name who sent the superbill to a client.
