TheraPlatform sends email (by default and free) and text reminders (needs to be turned on by you and additional fee applies) to both office and Telehealth visits and the type of reminder it sends (office vs Telehealth) depends on what location you select when scheduling on the calendar. If you schedule for Telehealth, we will send a Telehealth reminder type. If you schedule for office, we will send an office reminder type.
If you accidentally scheduled Telehealth location but meant office or vice versa and you need to change the reminder type, open the meeting on the calendar and change the location under location field. If the meeting was scheduled as recurring, it would be quicker to delete all the them and re-schedule with the correct location so you don't need to open each individual meeting within recurrence. If you need to change the text of the reminder type, follow the directions below.
Important: Please make sure to set any type of reminders before scheduling any clients on the calendar so they can receive reminders. If you schedule them first without setting reminders, they will not receive any reminders.
To change the reminder type's copy (text) follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on Settings< Notifications
Step 2: A list of notifications and reminders will pull
Step 3: Find the reminder you wish to edit/change text of and click on the green edit button. Change or add your text (don't remove any text in brackets) and save changes. You can also add additional reminders.
Note: We always send our default reminders 10 min before the scheduled appointment time but you can add additional reminder with the steps above.
