Therapists can request co-sign signatures from other therapists and supervisors, authorized to do so.
To request a co-sign:
Step 1: First start documenting your note (e.g. Assessment and Treatment Plan, SOAP, etc.). You can document from the clients chart (under Notes); from the Calendar (click on the scheduled appointment) or from To Do- under Documentation- Missing Notes.
Step 2: Each note has a field titled "Require Co-Sign". This should be marked in blue.
Step 3: Under Require Co-Sign filed, select the name of the therapist, who should sign your note.
Step 4: Once you complete your note and click on save changes, our system will automatically notify the co-signer to review and sign your notes.
Note: If you have any questions or comments for your co-signer, you can add an alert/message (sticky note) on your therapy note. For example, you wrote your Asssessment and Treatment Plan but you had a hard time coming up with goals, you can note this on the sticky note for your co-signer.
